Raymond Train Derailment
A slideshow of a recent derailment in Raymond, MN. This is meant solely to show a potentially dangerous incident, and showcase the efforts of a huge group of people, many of them volunteers, who came together to fix a bad situation. I don’t care to hear about any political agendas, I’m just showing the good.

My process of building a wood truck with propane tanker. The primary woods used are oak, maple, walnut, and redheart. The whole project took about 38 hours to complete.

Fall harvest on our farm in conjunction with Lundberg Farms. There were several changes this year, including raising sugarbeets for the first time. The green dump cart being used in place of a regular grain cart is a Crop Chaser from Karg Innovations, we used it during silage harvest and we wanted to see how well it worked during corn harvest also.

We had a tough silage season in Minnesota this year, between a late start, and dealing with ever increasing amounts of mud, it turned into a pretty challenging harvest for us. Thanks to a great crew, we were able to pull it off.

Like most other farms in the US, the 2019 spring planting season was challenging for us. We managed to get almost all of our crops in the ground. Like other years, we planted corn, soybeans, alfalfa, and black beans. All rights to the music being to Granger Smith for Bury Me in Blue Jeans, and Tim McGraw for Where the Green Grass Grows.
